For years, I lived in shirts. My wardrobe was a steady rotation of crisp, menswear-inspired pieces—strong, simple, and made for days when I was running from meetings to dinners to coffee catch-ups. But every time I tried to find the perfect shirt, I found myself stuck between overpriced luxury brands and fast fashion that didn’t feel quite right.

The name Barestreep is a play on "bare"—a nod to simplicity and ease—and "streep," which comes from Dutch for “stripe,” a print that’s as timeless as it gets. Barestreep isn’t just about striped prints —it’s about the textures, the weaves, and the fine details that make a garment exceptional. Every fabric carries its own subtle ‘stripes’ in its weave, and we celebrate that quiet craftsmanship.There’s a certain calmness in the rhythmic repetition of horizontal and vertical lines—bringing a sense of order and simplicity in an ever-changing world.
