All shirts are made using 100% cotton, ensuring breathability, durability, and a natural feel against your skin. Cotton’s versatility makes it ideal for year-round wear, keeping you cool in the summer and cosy in cooler weather.
While we use 100% cotton, some shirts are heavier in weight than others. Our Classic Canvas Shirt is made using 180 GSM white cotton poplin. It is crisp and heavier than usual white shirts available in the market. This makes it more luxurious, sturdy with a long lasting wear.
Poplin cotton is a timeless shirting fabric, used in several pieces in our collection for its smooth, crisp texture and lightweight nature. Known for its tightly woven finish, poplin provides a sleek appearance and a soft touch, making it a favourite for both casual and formal styles.

Washcare
To keep your Barestreep cotton shirts looking and feeling their best, follow these simple care tips:
Washing
- Machine Wash: Use cold water on a gentle cycle to prevent shrinking and preserve the fabric’s quality.
- Separate Colours: Wash light and dark colours separately to avoid colour bleeding.
- Mild Detergent: Opt for a gentle, bleach-free detergent to maintain the integrity of the fabric.
Drying
- Air Dry: Lay flat or hang your shirt to dry naturally. This helps retain the shape and avoids shrinkage.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Dry in a shaded area to prevent colour fading.
Ironing
